If you pay attention to the news headlines, it's pretty easy to see that this world is in a lot of trouble right now. In our own country, we've got a socialistic wicked President. The economy is falling apart. Christianity is considered an intolerant and hateful religion while Islam is celebrated as "peaceful". It's just getting worse and worse.
I'm just so thankful that God is bigger than this world and He's still going to take us out of here someday and He'll destroy the wicked and set up His kingdom! And beyond that, we get to live forever in Heaven someday. This life here on earth will seem like such a small speck compared with eternity. When it's put in perspective like that, how can we not praise the Lord every minute of every day. That's not even to mention the amazingness of the fact that we're saved and eternally secure because our God, our Creator, loves us so very much.
We really do have an awesome God.
