I'm sure most of you know that since I updated my blog last, Vince got a job. It's not the best-paying job in the world, and it's a temp job, but it's something. :-)
This Saturday I'm going to get an ultrasound to try to find out what the gender of the baby is. I'm really hoping for a boy, and Vince is too, but we'll see. A lot of people are telling me that I'm going to have a girl, but they can't predict that. Even the heartbeat thing is a definite myth, because earlier in my pregnancy the baby's heartbeat was about 130, and this last time we saw the midwife it got to 150. Whoever decided that below 140 is a boy and above 140 is a girl (or vice versa) was just wrong. :P
I've read in a few different pregnancy books that once you get to this point in pregnancy, you can start noticing patterns of when your baby is the most active. Well, I've been feeling my baby's movements every day for a little while now and I still can't find a pattern in it! My baby is just SO random... but I love it!! The more I feel those little movements and random kicks, the more I love my little baby. I'm just so excited that I'll get to meet him (or her) in just 18 weeks or so! :-)
