I don't know how close we are to the "End Times" (as in, how close we are to the Rapture and the Great Tribulation happening here on earth), but I can definitely see that America is in her last days. As I read the headlines, I see the Bible being banned in more public places, the wicked abomination of sodomy being forced on society, innocent unborn babies are being murdered by the thousands (even babies who are old enough to survive outside the womb, or survive an abortion but were forced to die anyway), etc. This nation is doing everything that God hates, so I will not be surprised if I see America fall apart within our lifetime.
True conservatism in America is dying, our economy is crumbling, and our enemies are laughing at us. Just look at the situation with North Korea. They keep playing around with missiles and nobody is stopping them. Now they've got one moved to a launch site that could reach the coast of Alaska.
All of this is happening because "Bible-Believing" Christians have slacked on the job. Instead of keeping our focus on witnessing, edifying one another, and studying the Word, we've become so conformed to this world. We love entertainment, we tear other godly Christians down instead of building them up (and call it "marking and avoiding those who teach false doctrine"... while the REAL false doctrine teachers are out there making a mess of things), we've become the laughing stock of Christianity and the world. There was a day in America when even unsaved people had a lot of respect for a Christian, because being a Christian meant that you were honest, never cussed or laughed at a dirty joke, never participated in drinking or dancing or other sinful entertainment, and you were able to be trusted. Now, Christians are known for being the first people to rip you off, and the first to make excuses for any sin they're involved in. No wonder the world is laughing at us and won't listen to us. They don't think we're any better than they are.
Sorry for the rant... I just got started thinking of something and it kinda rabbit-trailed into something else. I used to blog like this all the time, but I haven't felt the urge to in a while. I'm sorry if it's a little confusing and doesn't make much sense... I was really just sorting some thoughts out. Comment if you want to. :-)
