As far as I knew until now, only 3 people read and comment on this blog. My rants have a very small audience. :-) Of course, there is no way to track all of the other people who may have seen my blog through a link from someone else's blog, so I don't know who all reads this. The reason I keep it open is that maybe some of my posts may be a blessing to someone. I do have a tendency to talk about things that I disagree with, and post my opinion on those issues, but that's not meant to be a personal attack on anyone reading this blog. It usually has to do with doctrinal issues (or church-related issues in general) that I see a problem with.
It has come to my attention that someone has read and possibly got offended by one of my previous posts. Just because I make a post stating that I disagree with something you do or believe, it doesn't mean that I'm aiming the post at you. Most of my posts are pretty generalized. The last one is about a college (and the leader of that college) who I disagree with on several issues, not just the one mentioned in my last post. For example, Dr. Trieber wrote a booklet that makes homeschooling sound bad. I'm not afraid to say I disagree with the man, and I'm not afraid to say I disagree with the way his school is run. The money that is spent on all those fancy unnecessary things could be used toward missions, and a simple low-cost Bible Institute would be so much more efficient.
Btw, this isn't an apology. It's just an explanation. Also, if you have a problem with something I say on here, you should come to me or my husband, not anyone else. That would be called gossip and I don't appreciate people spreading rumors. Thanks.
Have a nice day. :)
Kathie, people just need to grow up and get over it. People know you aren't talking about them, but they will try to play that card just to try and make you retract what you said. People get offended far too easily.
ReplyDeleteHmm I'm way outta the loop on this one. I don't know much about the college or anything. I think a lot of folks trouble (and mine at times) is the tendency to take their eyes off Christ and focus on people. Then when someone says something negative about that person you're focusing on you get offended. It's easy to do, but soo not worth the bother!
ReplyDeleteHope whomever it was will get over it and just go on. Just because you don't agree with them on this issue doesn't mean they aren't still free to think whatever they want to think.
Thanks for the comments. Funny thing is that I don't even know WHO was reading my blog and got offended, lol. I just put up this post in case that person is still coming back and checking for updates so they can still try to get me in trouble. :P
ReplyDeleteAt this point I don't even want to know who it was. Seriously. lol.
Good JOB!!!!! I agree with you. :)
